A Legacy In Photos

When I was first old enough to babysit and make a little money, I began taking photos and sending the film of for development. With each roll of exposed film I sent, another would come with the prints. My camera was always at the ready. The black and white prints were often out of focus, unbalanced and I cut off more heads than Henry the Eighth. At one point early on, I "graduated" to a Polaroid - you remember the ones that you had to rub a glaze over to retain the image, but soon made my way back to regular cameras.

Over the years I have had many cameras, but never an expensive single lens reflex camera until today, when I ordered a digital one. This blog will be the beginning of my education in "real" photography and how it incorporates into my great passion of scrapbooking. In addition to this new venture, I will be posting my lineage in photographs as well as my scrapbooking layouts.

I invite comments with advise, praise and condolences as the journey begins.
